As a Business Development Manager (m/f/d) Innovation you will report to the Marketing & Business Development Director based in Blieskastel for a Permanent contract.

In this pioneering role, you will identify and validate new business opportunities, engage early adopters, and transform market potential into sustainable commercial success. Acting at the intersection of innovation, sales, and market development, you will help define how new technologies are introduced and adopted within the electrical distribution industry.

Your mission

• Identify, develop, and qualify new business opportunities by engaging prospective customers and early adopters.
• Validate market needs, use cases, and customer segments to ensure strong product-market fit and prioritize growth opportunities.
• Define, test, and continuously optimize value propositions, pricing models, and market positioning.
• Build and manage an early-stage commercial pipeline, driving opportunities from first contact to successful deal closure.
• Contribute to the development of scalable go-to-market strategies and support the successful onboarding of pioneering customers.

Your Profile

• Master's Degree or Engineering Degree, ideally in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Market Development, preferably within the electrical distribution industry.
• Proven track record of building new business opportunities and generating revenue from early-stage commercial activities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong adaptability, resilience, and the ability to succeed in uncertain and evolving market environments.
• Fluent in German and English with an international mindset and willingness to work in a global environment.
