Technical Support (m/f/d) Electrical Engineering

In your role as a Technical Support (m/f/d) Electrical Engineering you will report to the Sales Export & Trade Partners Senior Manager in the Sales department based in Blieskastel for a permanent contract.

As a Technical Support (m/f/d) Electrical Engineering you will be responsible to provide pre and/or post sales services and technical support to customers and sales force. You will act as a liaison between customers/distributors and Sales Representatives to resolve issues and facilitate sales.

Your mission

• Answer technical questions regarding product features, functions, and applications
• Prepare and plan project tenders for energy distribution systems using suitable planning tools
• Process project price inquiries, translate the technical product specifications to Hager references if necessary, and create a bill of materials for price calculation
• Conduct product and competitive analysis to help the sales team better identify products or product families to expand and improve the HU portfolio
• Support Sales Representatives in preparing bills of materials for MDB projects in Hungary, price calculations, and special price offers for projects
• Exchange with internal departments and, if necessary, external service providers
• Manage technical complaints regarding products at headquarters (TP technic)
• Review technical documentation in Hungarian

Your profile

• Bachelor degree, preferred higher (electrical or related) and professional experience with engery distribution systems up to 1 600A
• Knowledge of  AutoCAD and/or similar program such as HagerCAD will be an advantage
• Preferably good knowledge of Hager products especially in Energy Distribution environment
• Ability to analyze and solve complex electrotechnical problems and find practical solutions
• Strong communication skills for clear and understandable communication with colleagues, superiors and other departments
• Independent working style while adhering to safety and quality standards
• Pragmatic, technically curious and attention to details
• Fluent language skills in all three languages: English (B2), German (B2) and Hungarian (B2)
