As a Validation Manager (m/f/d) you will report to the Enclosure Systems Product Engineering Director. The position is based in Blieskastel for a permanent contract.

Mission

As Validation Manager, you are responsible for the strategic, operational and organizational leadership of all validation activities within the test laboratories. With a strong focus on standards compliance, efficiency, quality and global collaboration, you ensure robust, reusable and cost-effective validation solutions that optimally support product development, industrialization and certification phases.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Accountability for the overall verification and validation strategy and its implementation to support product development and business continuity.
• Responsibility for testing activities and competencies in accordance with relevant standards and internal requirements, in particular ISO 17025.
• Definition and continuous development of the Enclosure Systems Laboratory footprint across multiple sites in Europe.
• Responsibility for laboratory infrastructure, test equipment and calibration activities.
• Planning, justification and implementation of investments in testing facilities and laboratory strategies with a strong focus on cost-benefit efficiency.
• Ensuring full compliance with safety requirements and acting as a role model for a zero-accident culture.
• Close alignment with Engineering, System & Product Management, Quality, Project Management and other functions from early project phases onwards.

What you bring:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable field with proven experience in laboratory organization, test equipment, calibration and measurement uncertainty.
• At least 5 years of experience in team management with the ability to motivate, prioritize and empower employees.
• International and open mindset combined with a strong analytical and structured way of working.
• Very good knowledge of relevant standards and test methods in an electrotechnical environment (e.g. IEC 61439 series, IEC 60670-24, VDE 0603 series).
• Solid understanding of development and product creation processes.
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
