Health and Safety Technician (m/f/d)

For our location in Arenzano we are looking for a Health & Safety Technician (m/f/d) on a permanent contract. 

Your mission:

Provide operational support for the management of health, safety and environmental matters within the manufacturing plant, ensuring regulatory compliance, effective risk prevention and the continuous improvement of HSE performance and safety culture.

• Conduct shop-floor audits, safety inspections and workplace observations.
• Collect and analyse data on incidents, near misses, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Manage and maintain HSE documentation, registers and records.
• Update safety and environmental KPIs and monitor agreed action plans.
• Support occupational health surveillance activities in coordination with the Occupational Physician.
• Check contractor documentation and support the operational coordination of external companies.
• Verify the correct use of personal protective equipment and compliance with work instructions.
• Prepare documentation and reports for internal stakeholders and external authorities, where required.
• Participate in HSE meetings and safety committees.
• Monitor the timely closure and effectiveness of corrective actions arising from audits, inspections and investigations.

Your profile:

• Technical secondary-school diploma, preferably in an industrial, environmental or safety-related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Prevention Techniques in the Environment and Workplace, Environmental Engineering or a related field is considered an advantage.
• Approximately 2 to 5 years of experience in an HSE role within a manufacturing or industrial organisation.
• Good knowledge of Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008 and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations applicable to manufacturing sites.
• Risk assessment methodologies and HSE operational controls.
• Internal audit and workplace inspection techniques.
• Incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• HSE KPI monitoring, reporting and action tracking.
• Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Fluent Italian, English at B1/B2 level.

The salary range for this position is 30.000-35.000€, based on your experience.
