As Controlling Business Partner - Southern Eastern Western (SEW) Europe, you support this transformation of the Controlling Department and contribute to achieving our ambition by strengthening value contribution and business impact.

As a Controlling Business Partner:

• You proactively steer enterprise risk and opportunities, develop strategic initiatives, drive cost reduction initiatives and set up and maintain financial (and support non-financial) steering models.
• Reactively, you drive enterprise agility, initiatives to promote growth, organizational development and improve business processes.
• More specifically, you drive pricing initiatives, commercial cost initiatives and create and drive growth development business plans.
• You will operate in an international environment supporting 8 countries, with team members located across local organisations and Shared Service Centres.

Reporting to the Controlling Business Partner - International Sales (located in Dubai), you are in charge of the middle & small markets of Europe  be based in Bierun  for a Permanent contract.

Your responsibilities:

• Support the market area business for the region - International Sales:
• Partner with key decision-makers across the region.
• Provide guidance on the financial implications of strategic & operational decisions.
• Deliver meaningful insights and decision-relevant data to support business performance.

• Financial planning and forecasting, in the frame of the Integrated Financial Planning (IFP):
• Contribute to the target-setting process, ensuring adherence to four-eyes principle.
• Cascade, coordinate and challenge local budget preparation to ensure alignment with agreed targets.
• In parallel, raise awareness on risk and opportunities vs. the target.
• Contribute to high-level forecasting at segment level.
• Work in collaboration with the local Controlling teams and the operational managers to translate operative plans into business plans according to group’s standards.
• Manage the budget and forecasts processes.
• Analyze variances, make recommendations to the Top Management and deploy associated action plans.
• Lead and develop the team across the region while fostering strong collaboration with local finance teams.
• Support operational teams through training and coaching and provide reliable data to facilitate decision-making.
• Guarantee the application of the group’s standards.

Your Profile

• Bachelor or Master´s degree or equivalent academic qualification.
• At least 7 to 10 years of experience in different areas of Controlling on an international scale with a strong proximity to the business.
• Strategic mindset, problem solving and analytical skills are key to succeed in this position.
• Your customer orientation, your ability to work in a transversal mode and your communication skills will be key competencies as well.
• You have advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP and BW and are fluent in English. French or German language would be a plus.
