New “CAP HANDEO” label: a recognized commitment to supporting caregivers
Joining our company means choosing an employer that truly understands the realities of life.
Following an independent external audit conducted by Cap Handéo, we have once again been awarded the “Company committed to supporting employee caregivers” label for the next three years. This national recognition confirms the strength and continuity of our long-term commitment. We are also proud to be among the first five companies in France recognized for their actions in support of caregivers back in 2020.
“This certification, obtained following an external audit, confirms our commitment to sustainably support employee caregivers with practical and human-centered solutions,” says Catherine Distel, Care Management Specialist.
What does supporting caregivers actually mean?
A caregiver is an employee who, on a non-professional basis (partially or fully), supports a dependent loved one (child, parent, partner, sibling, etc.) facing illness, disability, or loss of autonomy, and who requires assistance in daily life.
Supporting caregivers in the workplace means acknowledging this often invisible reality and implementing concrete solutions to help individuals balance personal responsibilities and professional life. At Hager, this reality affects a significant portion of our workforce: more than 22% of our employees are caregivers today.
Because a professional journey should never come at the expense of personal responsibilities, we are committed to creating an environment where everyone can thrive, both professionally and personally.
