Controlling Business Partner - Southern Eastern Western (SEW) Europe (m/f/d)

As a Controlling Business Partner - Southern Eastern Western (SEW) Europe, you support this transformation and contribute to business performance by strengthening the connection between Controlling and the commercial organization.

This role is focused on commercial and sales controlling, supporting regional business performance through planning, forecasting, pricing, profitability analysis and business partnering across international markets.

As a Controlling Business Partner:

• You support business performance through financial analysis, forecasting, pricing initiatives and cost optimization measures.
• You identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to improve profitability and support sustainable growth.
• You contribute to commercial initiatives and business plans by delivering meaningful financial insights and performance indicators.
• You will operate in an international environment supporting 8 countries, working closely with local organizations and Shared Service Centres.

Reporting to the Controlling Business Partner - Regional Sales (located in Dubai), you will support the middle and small markets of Europe and be based in Bieruń on a permanent contract.

Your responsibilities

Support the market area business for the region - International Sales

• Partner with key business stakeholders across the region.
• Provide guidance on the financial implications of operational and business decisions.
• Deliver meaningful insights and decision-relevant data to support business performance.

Financial planning and forecasting within the Integrated Financial Planning (IFP) framework

• Contribute to the target-setting process while ensuring adherence to the four-eyes principle.
• Coordinate and challenge local budget preparation to ensure alignment with agreed targets.
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities against targets.
• Contribute to forecasting activities at segment level.
• Work closely with local Controlling teams and operational managers to translate operational plans into business plans aligned with Group standards.
• Manage budget and forecasting processes for the supported markets.
• Analyze variances, provide recommendations to management and support implementation of action plans.
• Coordinate and support collaboration across the region while working closely with local finance teams and business stakeholders.
• Support operational teams through training, coaching and data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure the application of Group standards and controlling processes.

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, Economics or a related field.
• Around 5-8 years of experience in Controlling, Business Controlling, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering, ideally in an international environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business recommendations.
• Customer-oriented mindset and ability to build effective relationships with business stakeholders.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in an international matrix organization.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP and BW.
• Fluent English is required. French or German would be considered an advantage.
