About the Role

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you’ll play a critical role in strengthening technical capability across the business. You’ll act as a key point of contact for technical support while delivering engaging training programs that enable both internal teams and external customers to succeed.

You’ll build strong relationships with sales teams, customers, and industry stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor who provides practical guidance on product applications, regulations, and best practice. From investigating technical issues and supporting warranty cases to designing training programs and maintaining knowledge systems, you’ll contribute across the full technical lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Provide timely and professional technical support to internal teams and customers. 

• Investigate and identify product, installation, and compliance issues, determining root causes and solutions. 

• Maintain strong technical knowledge across products, applications, and relevant standards and regulations. 

• Act as a first point of contact for resolving technical queries and supporting quality and warranty cases. 

• Build relationships with regulatory bodies, inspectors, and industry stakeholders. 

• Maintain accurate records of technical issues and trends.

Training & Sales Enablement

• Design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs for internal teams and customers. 

• Develop onboarding training plans for new sales employees. 

• Collaborate with Product Specialists and Market Managers to create impactful training tools and materials. 

• Deliver engaging presentations across multiple formats: in person, online, and video. 

• Support sales teams through knowledge sharing, product demonstrations, and technical guidance. 

• Represent the business at trade shows and industry events.

Knowledge Management

• Build and maintain a strong technical knowledge base across products, applications, and competitor insights. 

• Capture and track technical issues and training activities through CRM and reporting tools. 

• Identify knowledge gaps and implement plans to improve technical competency across the sales team. 

• Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to ensure consistent communication of product updates. 

• Develop practical tools and resources to support product application and customer understanding.

Your Profile

• Qualified A Grade Electrician with strong experience in commercial and residential applications (10+ years preferred) 

• Proven ability to deliver training or share technical knowledge in an engaging way 

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail 

• Excellent communication and presentation skills across varied audiences 

• Customer focused, with a proactive and solutions driven mindset 

• Highly organised, with strong planning and time management capability 

• Collaborative approach and ability to build relationships across teams and externally 

• Motivated by continuous learning and improvement
