As a Manufacturing Industrialization Engineer (V.I.E.), you will report to the Industrialization Manager in the Manufacturing Industrialization department based in La Roca (Barcelona), Spain for a V.I.E. contract.


What you will do?

As a Manufacturing Industrialization Engineer (VIE), you will play a key role in supporting and improving manufacturing processes while progressively taking ownership of projects end-to-end.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, quality, and maintenance), supporting ongoing initiatives while also leading smaller projects independently.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting ongoing industrialization projects, contributing to process and equipment implementation
  • Leading small projects or workstreams autonomously, from definition to execution
  • Contributing to the improvement of existing processes, focusing on safety, ergonomics, quality, cost, and performance
  • Participating in the development of solutions in automation, manual assembly, plastic injection, and robotics
  • Supporting testing, validation, and documentation of processes and equipment to ensure operational excellence

What about you?

  • Academic background in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar)
  • First experience or strong interest in manufacturing, industrialization, or process engineering
  • Autonomous and proactive, with the ability to take ownership of projects and drive them forward
  • Structured and organized, able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on mindset
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a strong asset in an international environment

What are the recruitment stages?​ 

  • Once your CV has been selected, you will be contacted by a recruiter for an initial phone exchange.​ 
  • You will be invited for a first interview with the hiring manager & the recruiter.  
  • You'll get the chance to showcase your skills by preparing and presenting ause case to the Hiring Manager and the HRBP Local.​ 
  • The last step will be then organized with the Head of Department and the Early Careers team.​

Please note that to be eligible for the V.I.E., you must comply with the following criteria, in case of doubt check the Business France website:  

  • You must be a citizen of one of the Member States of the European Economic Area 
  • You must not be a citizen of the host country (in this case Spain), unless you hold a dual citizenship with another Member State of the European Economic Area. 
  • You must not have recently lived in the country you are applying, or already paid taxes in this country 
  • You must be between 18 and 28 years of age 
  • You must not have done a V.I.E. in the past 
  • You must have a clean record
