Sales Engineer - Project (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for a person for the position of Sales Engineer - Project in Belgium East and West Flanders.

This position offers a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with commercial acumen, supporting clients across the full lifecycle of their investments.

As part of our team, you will work closely with key stakeholders in the industry—installers, electrical contractors, architects, and investors—delivering tailored solutions in power distribution, cable management, and smart building technologies. As a Sales Engineer - Project (m/f/d) you will report to District Sales Manager in the sales based in Brussels  for a Permanent contract.


Your responsibilties:

  • Acquiring and building relationships with industry clients in your designated area (installers, electrical contractors, specifiers, architects, investors).
  • Project-based sales of electrical power distribution systems and cable management systems, wiring accessories, smart building solutions.
  • Providing technical advice on the offered products.
  • Managing projects throughout the investment period.
  • Preparing commercial offers (in cooperation with Sales Support Engineers).
  • Conducting product presentations for clients.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing and Customer Service teams

Requirements:

  • You have practical knowledge in the area of electrical power distribution (at least a very good understanding of LV switchgear construction).
  • You have experience in selling power distribution systems for investments.
  • You possess a strong knowledge of the local electrotechnical market.
  • Your Dutch is on native level, English and French are nice to haves.
  • You easily establish contacts and build long-term relationships with clients.
  • You hold a higher technical education in a related field.
  • You demonstrate a high level of independence and initiative in your work.
  • You have a category B driving license and are ready to work in the field.
  • You are committed, creative, and enthusiastic.

What are the recruitment stages? 

  • Once your CV has been selected, you will be contacted by a recruiter for an initial phone exchange.
  • You will be invited for a first interview with the hiring manager & the recruiter 
  • A second Interview will be then organized with the N+2 & the HR manager
