We are currently searching for a new member in our Hager Middle East team!

We are looking for a full time Sales Engineer based in Riyadh, KSAresponsible for achieving the sales targets and business growth in Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a candidate to successfully contribute to the sales for LV solutions, Switchgear, Wiring Accessories and Home Automation, in Saudi Arabia market.

As a Sales Engineer you will report to Country Sales Manager KSA in the Marketing & Sales department based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.


What are the skills required for this position?

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in similar job profile with an adequate technical & commercial understanding of LV switchgear project & retail business.

Having work experience in MS Office tools and CRM system is preferred.

Fluency in English and Arabic language is mandatory.

Having a valid driving license is mandatory.

Familiarity with Saudi standards (SASO, SEC, IEC) is an advantage.

Candidates should have excellent communication, organisation and presentation skills.

The successful candidate must have a sales experience and customer relationship in infrastructure market and has knowledge of the existing & upcoming opportunities.

What are the main job responsibilities?

To ensure that the targets are achieved through the specification of all agreed product brands.

Identify, create, develop and maintain a portfolio of key specifiers relative to the job purpose. Regularly update and develop this portfolio.

Build effective working relationships and strong brand loyalty through trust, product and application knowledge and high levels of customer service.

Contribute in measurable terms to the company objectives through securing written specification across all brands.

Clear, effective and timely communication/feedback of activity and achievement to colleagues on a regular basis.

Provide quality project leads to the project engineers of our distributors.

Ensure enough stocks are available both locally and main warehouse through stock monitoring and monthly forecasts.

Maintain excellent POS display of all the products.

Conduct marketing activities such as product launches, seminars etc.

Be aware of local competitor activity, products and prices.

Maintain and develop personal contact with specifiers/distributors.

Ensure excellent standards of customer service are achieved within the area.

Coordinate with designated partners to work on projects and be involved till completion of project.

Scout for project leads across KSA and then coordinate with various stakeholders involved in the project.

Internal coordination with various segments to ensure smooth business completion.

Ability to work independently and be a team player.

Regularly update internal CRM data base and follow up as required.

Provide all written communication to customers in a professional manner and within the agreed timescales, e.g. Quotes

Demonstration of a high standard of personal presentation.
