You will work with Hager’s advanced systems (800–4000A) designed for safe, efficient energy distribution with in-house developed switchgear and protective devices. 

Join us as Senior Manager (m/f/d) Supply Chain & Logistics – Project Business, reporting directly to the Head of Project Business, MDS Program. We offer a permanent contract with the flexibility to be based closed to our centers of operations for Project business either in Blieskastel (Saarland, Germany), Milan or Porcia (Italy) or La Roca (Barcelona, Spain).

Your Role

As Senior Manager Supply Chain & Logistics – Project Business, you are responsible for defining and developing the Supply Chain & Logistics strategy for a global project business environment.
You operate at senior management level, lead cross-functional initiatives and ensure that Supply Chain & Logistics fully support the overall Project Business strategy. The role combines strong business understanding with strategic leadership and high-level stakeholder management.

Key accountabilities

Strategy & leadership

• Define and own the Supply Chain & Logistics strategy for the Project Business, aligned with company and Group strategy.
• Establish the operating model, governance and KPIs for planning and fulfilment.
• Lead and develop the Supply Chain & Logistics team.
• Represent Supply Chain & Logistics at Project Business Management Team level and in cross-functional forums.

Project business planning & alignment

• Ensure strategic alignment between market demand, project pipeline, manufacturing and logistics capabilities.
• Provide guidance on planning concepts, capacity direction and service models for project business.
• Act as a senior sparring partner for cross-functional stakeholders.

Customer & stakeholder management

• Ensure high-level service frameworks for key project customers.
• Build structured communication models towards internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive clarity on commitments, priorities and risks at senior management level.

Manufacturing & footprint interface

• Partner with Manufacturing and Industrialisation on strategic topics such as flexibility, lead time reduction and footprint decisions.
• Contribute to cost-to-serve, make-or-buy and network design considerations for Project Business.

Systems & continuous improvement

• Ensure robust process design and data transparency across Supply Chain & Logistics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with measurable impact on service and performance.

Your Profile

Experience and qualifications

• Extensive experience in Supply Chain & Logistics within a project-driven business, ideally in electrotechnical or industrial environments.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to design structures, frameworks and long-term direction.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and influence at senior level.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including at executive level.
• Fluent English; German and/or French are a plus.

• Set a clear strategic direction for Supply Chain & Logistics and translate strategy into clear priorities for the Project Business.
• Lead and align cross‑functional stakeholders, making priority decisions in complex and dynamic project environments.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and problem solving across Supply Chain & Logistics.
